Brick Search Plus frequently asked questions

Please ensure you have given the camera permissions:

On iPhones:

• Open Settings
• Scroll down → tap Privacy & Security
• Tap Camera
• Find your app (Brick Search)
• Toggle it ON

For Android:

• Open Settings
• Tap Apps
• Tap Brick Search
• Tap Permissions
• Tap Camera
• Select Allow

To identify blind boxes, you need to scan the QR code on the right, not the barcode on the left. On some devices you may need to make sure you put your finger across the barcode on the left, so that the camera only sees the small QR codes.

First, open the minifigure scanner via the blue button at the bottom of the home screen. Then, hold the data matrix code on the LEGO Collectible Minifigures box (Series 25 and on) you want to scan in front of the camera. You’ll see instantly which minifigure is inside. You can scan multiple boxes at one time, scan online or offline and instantly add minifigures to your collection.

No – it’s a one-off payment to become a Brick Search Plus member, and then you can use the best-ever minifigure scanner as much as you want for the duration of your membership.

Brick Search Plus memberships automatically renew one month or one year after your initial subscription.

Firstly, why would you want to do that? But if you’ve lost the run of yourself and no longer want to be a Brick Search Plus member, you can manage your subscription via the Google Play Store, if you’re on an Android device, or via the Settings menu on an iOS device. All app subscription management is done this way – Brick Search doesn’t handle payments, so we can’t cancel memberships or issue refunds, for example.

Yes you can. Brick Search Plus users on iOS devices will be able to access Brick Search Plus on a new device by using the same Apple ID and with an active Brick Search Plus subscription. Users on Android devices can access their Brick Search Plus membership on a new device by using the same Google Play account and with an active Brick Search Plus subscription.
